Easy to Make Cinnamon and Applesauce Ornaments

Over the thanksgiving break my sisters in law and I decided to get crafty and make christmas ornaments. So we found a recipe to make cinnamon applesauce ornaments on pinterest. Click here for the original website and directions we followed.

So Instead of using two cups of each we cut the recipe in half and used 1 cup applesauce and 1 cup cinnamon. Then we simply stirred it together until and dough formed, and rolled it out like cookie dough. Next with cute christmasy cookie cutters we cut out the shapes for our ornaments. With a pin we pushed holes through the tops of each ornament, so we would be able to hang them. Even with half a recipe we were able to make plenty of ornaments, 21 total!

Here they are after baking them at 150 degrees for 3 hours.

Next all we had to do was tie raphia (you can use any string you like) through the holes and our ornaments were complete and smelling delicious enough to eat!
